2 Corinthians 7:10: "For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death." It's nearly impossible to go through life without regret. We all make mistakes; it's how we learn. But when we dwell on those mistakes, we can get stuck. This kind of regret is not healthy repentance, but a shackle that keeps us from pursuing the righteousness of God. We should, therefore, look back on the work God has done in our lives, understanding that He has made us new. We can rise in the midst of our regret by realizing that we have been redeemed in Christ.
Write down a few regrets that you have been holding onto and need to Rise Past.
